DIN 7603 Type C is a metal-jacketed sealing washer with an internal filler. Under tightening force, it conforms to minor surface irregularities and provides reliable static sealing.
 

It is suitable for threaded plugs and fittings in hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, lubrication, and engine systems. Compared with solid metal washers, Type C can achieve effective sealing with lower tightening force while offering excellent pressure, temperature, and vibration resistance.
