U-Packing Features

U-Packings feature a U-shaped profile with inner and outer sealing lips. System pressure energizes the lips against the sealing surfaces, providing reliable self-energizing performance. They offer low friction, easy installation, good pressure resistance, and tolerance to slight misalignment.

Available Elastomers

• NBR: Good oil and wear resistance for general hydraulic applications.
• FKM: Excellent resistance to heat, oils, and chemicals for demanding environments.
• EPDM: Suitable for water, steam, and certain brake fluids; not recommended for mineral oils.
• HNBR: Improved heat, wear, and aging resistance compared with standard NBR.
