U-Packing Features

U-Packings feature a U-shaped profile with inner and outer sealing lips. System pressure energizes the lips against the sealing surfaces, providing reliable self-energizing performance. They offer low friction, easy installation, good pressure resistance, the ability to accommodate limited misalignment, depending on the application and seal design.

Available Elastomers

NBR: Good oil and wear resistance for general hydraulic applications.
FKM: Excellent resistance to heat, oils, and chemicals for demanding environments.
EPDM: Suitable for water, steam and selected brake fluids. EPDM is generally not recommended for mineral oils or hydrocarbon-based lubricants.
HNBR: Improved heat, wear, and aging resistance compared with standard NBR.
