Oil Seals, also known as rotary shaft seals or radial seals are commonly applied to seal the inner chamber (normally know as oil side) and outer side , usually air side as environments. Oil Seals provides the funcitons of preventing leakage and also encsue no foreign particles, contaminats going into gears or chamber.
